Drafting & Filing
Our patent attorneys and patent agents have experience of drafting strong and world class patent applications with a quick turnaround time. Our team’s expertise includes drafting patent application for filing at Indian patent office, USPTO, Japanese patent Office, Australian Patent Office, Canadian Patent Office and European Patent Office. We also assist our clients by filing PCT applications. On identifying the target convention countries, our team co-ordinates with our associate offices in these countries for filing the patent applications and obtaining the grant of patent. Our team works in close coordination with inventors from a secure, controlled and state-of-the-art environment to ensure absolute confidentiality of client's disclosure.
We review the technical disclosure with the client in detail to explore the extent of their conception and help them identify all of the applications and features of their invention. Our drafting team works in close coordination with the inventor(s) to draft the complete specifications and claims and prepare the drawings according to the patent law of the country where patent application is to be filed. Our drafters focus on claim drafting, which is a combination of art, science, legal skill, and imagination, where the claims of the invention are valid, enforceable, and able to withstand challenges in litigation. Our focus on quality enables our clients to avoid the pitfalls of patents that are drafted too narrowly to cover subsequent design evolutions, provide little flexibility to avoid unforeseen prior art, or make enforcement litigation unnecessarily complicated or expensive. The final draft of the patent application is reviewed, modified and filed by the patent attorney of the country contracted/hired by FormulateIP.
